American Idol Season 6

Melinda Doolittle is one of my favorite American Idol contestants: she has a great voice, she sings extremelly well, she is lovable, she is shy with no big ego or attitude. She has been praised by all judges, including Simon, for the greatest talent and very low profile.

She performed great today and should definitively stay in the game. However I have some concerns about her image after tonights performance where she dedicated song to her two best friends. One of them happened to be her voice coach and the other her stylist.

Wow!!! I did not expect her to have such support asuming that she was somewhat lost in the real world. Or was she?

It appears that Melinda Doolittle is slowly but shurely building the image that should take her far in this competition. I am wondiring if this will backfire?
